ACTIVITIES

The Saanenland is known for its fantastic nature, events and culinary delights. In summer, for example, you can enjoy 300 kilometres of hiking and biking trails and in winter you can whizz down the ski and snowboard slopes. One thing is for sure, there is plenty to do all year round.

From May to October you can benefit from reduced-price leisure activities thanks to the GSTAAD CARD. Among other things, you have free travel on various mountain railways.

Many guests are attracted to Gstaad because of the numerous events. For example, the top events "Beach Volleyball Majors Series", "Swiss Open Gstaad" and the "Country Festival" take place every year, along with many other events.

OUTDOOR

The motto of Gstaad is "Into the peace of nature". Enjoy the fresh mountain air and unspoilt nature around Gstaad. We will be pleased to show you on the hiking and biking maps where you can enjoy the most beautiful views or where you can find the best slopes and cross-country ski runs in winter. This is an overview of the outdoor activities.

INDOOR

When the weather is not playing along, you can take advantage of Gstaad's varied indoor offer. Be it climbing, swimming, tennis, badminton or squash, wellness and much more.

EVENTS

There are sporting and cultural events in Gstaad and the surrounding area for every taste throughout the year. Always worthwhile is the traditional "Züglete" in September, where local farmers walk through the village with their herds of cattle.
